Three copies, two media, one offsite
Our engagements follow the standard 3-2-1 rule: three copies of your data, on two different types of media, with at least one copy offsite. Because we operate our own datacenter presence, the offsite copy lives on infrastructure we control in Ohio, and restores do not depend on a stranger's support queue.

Why do I need disaster recovery if I have backups?
Backup is a copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the plan and infrastructure to get your business running again, in a known amount of time. Plenty of businesses with backups have still spent a week down because nobody had tested the second part.
How often should data be backed up?
It depends on how much work you can afford to lose. Daily is a floor for most businesses; critical systems often justify continuous or hourly protection. We set that number with you, in writing, per system.

We work with the leading enterprise platforms: Veeam, our partner, plus Rubrik and Commvault. You get an industry-standard product configured by people who work with it daily, not a proprietary system that locks your data to us.
How fast can you restore our systems?
That is the recovery time objective we agree on up front, and it varies by system and data size. Critical services are typically back within hours. Whatever the number is, you will know it before you need it.
